We currently offer two versions of van Aaken Smartbox for this model which are known as the van Aaken SmartBoxR and the van Aaken SmartBoxV5.
Both these van Aaken SmartBoxes increase power by 60hp and torque by 159lbs ft at 2000rpm.
The extra power is achieved by carefully increasing the fuel delivery and advancing the injection timing. Advancing the injection timing also serves to reduce Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) which remain close to stock levels with the van Aaken SmartBox fitted.
Both the van Aaken SmartBoxR and the van Aaken SmartBoxV5 have been specifically designed to be fitted (and removed) within minutes. They use high quality plugs to mate in with the original system.
To install the van Aaken SmartBoxR, simply unplug the loom from the back of the Diesel injection pump and plug the van Aaken SmartBoxR in between the pump and the loom. It also has a connection into the map sensor.
The van Aaken SmartBoxV5 has been designed for those who prefer not to unplug the loom from the back of the Diesel injection pump: it connects into the diagnostic plug and into the map sensor.
A built in boost delimiter is included on both the van Aaken SmartBoxR and the van Aaken SmartBoxV5 for full adjustability.
No engine seals are broken during the fitting of either the Aaken SmartBoxR or the van Aaken SmartBoxV5 and you do not have to cut wires or feed wires through the bulkhead unless you wish to fit an optional power level switch.
In both cases, although fitting is simple, full easy to follow fitting instructions describing mounting and plugging the units in are supplied.

VAD-COMMANDE - VA Commander Monitor Other Diesels
The vA Commander equips your vehicle with digital monitoring of up to 7 parameters simultaneously. The Commander
is a stand alone digital gauge that needs no other products to monitor the parameters of your vehicle.
Along with monitoring these parameters the Commander will also allow you to set your own limits with warning
screens. The monitor can also recall the minimum and maximums on each monitored parameter. When combined
with any vA SmartBox, the Commander gives you total engine management and security. This digital
gauge can keep you informed of more monitored vehicle parameters than any other single gauge on the market.
It doesn t matter which module or chip you use you now have control at your fingertips and have protection over
all the important engine components. Another incredible feature of the Commander is that it allows you to control
multiple power modules at the same time! It also allows you the option of keeping you data. It logs all the information
stored on the monitor and gives you the option of reviewing it and also downloading the stats to your computer.

It logs all the information stored on the monitor and gives you the option of reviewing it and also downloading the stats to your computer.
Although this gauge far out does anything ever built it has more to offer. The Commander has the largest LCD screen of any stand alone type gauge. It also has an adjustable white LED backlight behind the LCD for easy viewing at night. Even though the screen is big, the Commander, as a whole is not. This monitor comes with a universal mount that is adjustable so you can put your Commander almost anywhere you want.
The vA Commander is upgradeable. It has a built in mini USB port and comes with a download cable.
