High Tech Turbo

High Tech Turbo

HTB2 2nd Gen HTB2 2nd Gen - HTB2 2nd Gen
Our HTB turbo series features very strong, high-flow turbos for aftercooled Dodge Cummins engines. With a 4" exhaust system, free-flowing air box and fuel enough to burn, 350-625 HP is the comfort range for these turbos. The HTB line-up features extremely durable and responsive chargers. Even after the initial quick spool-up, our HTB turbos build boost even quicker than other hybrid turbos so that there is plenty of boost at low-end, for towing and, well, for sheer fun. The result is minimal smoke as well as even lower EGT's. We offer 4 compressor choices culminating in the 66mm inducer of Sled Puller. You have a choice of two different high-flow wastegated turbine housing set-ups as well. You can get great spool-up. You can get drive pressures down to 1:1 ratio at 45 lbs boost. AN IMPORTANT FACTOR TO CONSIDER WITH YOUR TURBO PURCHASE IS INEXPENSIVE UPGRADABILITY. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO GROW OUT OF YOUR TURBO IN 6 MONTHS. Our turbos can grow right along with your horsepower needs. When you send in your HTBG, HTB2 or HTB2/64, we will upgrade the compressor to the next step up for only $200. This way you can't go wrong. Your don't have to purchase a turbo that is too big for you and you don't have to risk getting one too small. We also offer turbine housing upgrades. Often we can take your HTB 12cm2 turbine housing in trade for a 14cm2 housing (or 14 for 12) for just $150.00. Also, we can often machine the outlet flanges to different styles. Often we can offer upgrades and improvements for "B-1" turbos, Schwitzer S300G turbos and "Super B" turbos. Don't feel stuck. Ask us about these upgrade opportunities. Keeping EGT's in check (1400 degrees), our customers most often report horsepower/torque in the following range for these models: HTBG - 350-425 HP 950 ft. lbs. torque HTB2 - 450-500 HP 1050 ft. lbs. torque HTB2/64 - 500-550 HP 1150 ft. lbs. torque (KILLER B-2) HTB2/66 - 550-600 HP 1225 ft. lbs. torque (SLED PULLER 66) These turbos feature ported shroud compressor housings, well as adjustable wastegate actuators set by our shop at about 40 lbs psi. Keep in mind that boost equates to turbine speed and once you exceed "safe" boost levels of a turbo, any turbo will become a candidate for failure. Engine head gaskets and other components are at risk as boost levels approach 50 lbs. Unlike the Schwitzer S300G, we sell our HTB2 with a choice of 12 or 14 quickspool modified turbine housings. We also give you the choice of turbine outlet flanges (standard HTB2, HX40 style 4" flange or 3rd gen flange). Other mods include an adjustable wastegate actuator and heavy duty bearings for durability.

HTPS Ball Buster HTPS Ball Bu - HTPS Ball Buster
The HTPS Ford Powerstroke Performance Turbo for Late 99 - 02 Drop-in replacement

This is a completely redesigned turbo. There is nothing "stock" about it. Each housing was cast from new molds and machined to new specifications for the larger turbine and compressor wheels.

FEATURES:

*Large ported shroud compressor with a 10mm larger exducer for flow increases exceeding 30%. The compressor wheel is larger and flows about the same as the Garrett ball-bearing turbo.
*1.00 T. Hsg. instead of the stock .84. (For lower drive pressures and extended top-end horsepower.)
*The stock Powerstroke turbo has a baseline setting of just a few pounds and the computer controls pressure output from that base. This actuator has a 20 lb. base setting and can be adjusted from there since the turbo is easily capable of withstanding more pressure.
*360 degree thrust bearing and the shaft shank that is 5/16" in diameter instead of original 1/4". This gives you the strength and durability you need.
This turbo, with no other modifications has been shown to drop EGT's by 350 degrees.
With a 110 hp chip and a free flowing intake and exhaust has revealed HP increases of 175 HP over stock with modest boost pressures. This turbo requires less drive pressures and less boost pressure to make the same amount or more horsepower than the Garrett ball-bearing turbo. As a turbocharger remanufacturer, the best thing about this turbo is that it cost much less down the road when it comes to repairs. Have you found many rebuilders who will rebuild your Garrett ball-bearing turbo? Have you picked yourself up off the floor yet after learning the cost of these repairs? With this turbo you get the air you need as well as the spool-up you've come to expect.
The perfect replacement for your stock, ATS or Garrett ball-bearing turbo. Price is $1350 We require a $150.00 refundable core deposit. Late 99-2002 cores and ball-bearing turbo cores are acceptable.

This turbo features a 4" intake, so unless you already have this hose, you'll want to purchase a 4" intake hose w/clamp, add $90
